Carol Ann Bartlett has been the Operations Manager for the Longboat Key Financial Group LLC since joining the firm in January 2008.  She has total responsibility for all of the administrative areas of the business including client servicing, compliance oversight, marketing, payroll and expenses.

Carol has been in the financial services industry for over 18 years since joining Raymond James & Assoc in 1996.  She was a Customer Service Manager in the Customer Accounts and Cash Control areas with total day-to-day responsibility for the hiring, training and supervision of as many as 22 associates.

During her time at Raymond James, Carol served on several technology innovation teams, including the Automated Customer Account Transfer project (ACAT), Funds Disbursement and Money Receipt projects.  Carol is a trained instructor, certified facilitator and holds a Masters Degree from Raymond James University.In each of the management positions she held, Carol was dedicated to the welfare, education and exceptional performance of the associates who reported to her. In 2003 she was given the Raymond James Management Support of Operations & Administration Award for her efforts in managing interdepartmental relationships.  

Prior to joining Raymond James, Carol spent over 20 years in the chemical manufacturing and distribution industry with ICI Americas, The DuPont Company and Van Waters & Rogers Inc, where she held staff positions in Clinical Research, Regulatory Affairs, Corporate Communications, Purchasing & Hazardous Waste Removal. Carol was the Southern Regional Trainer for Van Waters & Rogers.Carol also served as Public Relations Coordinator for the Eleutherian Mills-Hagley Foundation, a museum dedicated to the history of the founding of the DuPont Company. In that role, she appeared on television and had numerous articles published in local and national media.

Carol attended the University of Delaware majoring in Special Education and was awarded an Associate of Arts Degree in Management & Marketing from Tampa College in 1988.  Carol was a marketing intern with Burson-Marsteller in New York City and is a certified facilitator and instructor from the Philip Crosby College of Quality Training.

Carol is a 4th generation native of Wilmington, Delaware where she attended St Elizabeth Elementary and High School. She is a member of the National Honor Society, Who’s Who of American High School & College Students and the founding president of the Future Business Leaders of America.  Carol and her husband, Bill Sr. currently reside in W Bradenton, Fl.; have been married for over 44 years, with two grown sons, Bill Jr and Jim, and 5 grandchildren.  Carol is a life-long lover of dachshunds, an avid reader, a classic rock music fan and would rather spend an afternoon at the beach on Anna Maria Island than just about anywhere else.
